EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! boo raw raw

1) The time of Easter is based on the cycles of the moon, the equinox, and seasons and things in nature. There are only 35 different days on which Easter can fall, and people have been celebrating Easter on Sunday for more than 35 years, so there have been some duplicates.
2)my family doesn't really have any easter traditions.. we used to always get our easter baskets on sunday moring but we've grown out of that and don't even get chocolate unfortunatly! This year we are going to be in Edmonton during easter for some shopping and such.
3)I'm going to edmonton for a few days and just working.. nothing to exciting, my sister is in Rome currently.. i wish, but at least i get to use her car because i don't have one yet.

St.Pattys Day!/Curling Buisness

1) St. Patricks day celebrates St. Patrick, one of the patron saints on Ireland. its celebrated on March 17 and is celebrated all around the world. The day usually involves green beer, and good ole' get togethers. Shamrocks are usually seen through windows and green on peoples backs. the irish have observed St. Patricks day as a religous holiday for many year and its a day to drink dance and feast.
2) in many places parades, concerts, plays and outdoor productions take place. also fireworks are show in many cases. Traditionally its celebrated as the feast and anniversery of St. Patricks death. Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived and people would dance, drink, and feast—on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage.
3) the traditional icon is the Shamrock, and its importance is that according to legend it was used by St. Patrick in explaining the doctrine of the Trinity, is is now the emblem of Ireland.
4) reasons why i'm lucky?

b) I haven't been seriously injured before( knock on wood)

4)movies that i'm looking forward to seeing. I really really want to see "atonement", so bad that its almost painfull. also "miss pedigrew lives for a day" looks really cute. Jumper, and pentolope also look good. I have this thing for James McAvoy an actor who is really good looking. so ill probably have to see every movie that he's in. which include pentolope and atonement. I also still haven't seen Juno, which i'm really looking forward to.
5) Rachel Weisz was born today
6)the quote of the day is : " I was staring through the cage of those meticulous ink strokes - at an absolute beauty." its from the movie "Amadeus"which was filmed in 1984
7)My favorite movie is definatly " Pride and Prejudice". its my favorite because i love Jane Austen. her books are amazing, i've read most of them. so i had to see the movie and i love how its portrayed and the actors are really good. Keira Knightly is really talented. Also the music in it is really good. i'm not normally into classical but its really inlightning and kind of makes you feel good. The movie is a romance and its about the life of the "the Bennet" family. its about the daughters and the things that they go through as young women. Its basically based about Elizabeth bennet and Mr. Darcy her love interest who she hates at the bigginging. Its encapturing and lovely. In the end its happily ever after as expected but i love it all the same. I think that anyone who love romances and old age movies will like it. its more of a chick flick than anything else. the dialoge is at times hard to follow, because of the English accents, but if your willing to put in the time you'll end up likeing it. http://imdb.com/title/tt0414387/
