1) this weekend is going to be a combination of work and fun. I work tonight and tomorrow all day but tomorrow night is going to be super fun, its Tessa's birthday! and than i have sunday and monday off. I'm going to stoon on sunday to get my outward bound stuff and than monday my mom wants to go golfing! so it should be a fun weekend.
2) Victoria day is on monday, we get it off because May 24, Queen Victoria's birthday, was declared a holiday by the Legislature of the Province of Canada in 1845. After the death of Queen Victoria in 1901, an Act was passed by the Parliament of Canada establishing a legal holiday on May 24 in each year.
3)No i do not watch American Idol.. i think i watched season two and that was it.
4)No i don't think that social networks should be banned at school. if kids have there work done and they have nothing to do than going on the computer should be an option. at lunch time the library is full and half of the kids are on computers, most of them probably are on such sites. as long as there on stable sites and they aren't doing anything that a teacher would disaprove whats wrong with it. the sites are just another way of conversing like texting.
-the government shouldn't really get involved i don't think those sites are really the issue, its probably the chat rooms that they are worried about, but on things like myspace, facebook etc. your only talking to people that you have added as a friend. so you don't have to worry about randoms. Teachers should have the say as to what kids are accessing as long as they take into consideration that everything about the networks insn't bad.
